Nouns

Nouns are words for people, places, things, abstract concepts, and so on. Examples of nouns:

Plurals

The plural form of a noun is formed with the suffix '-s'. This suffix becomes '-es' if the word ends in one of these letters: s, z, š, ž, c, j. There are no irregular plural forms.

Articles

In Koolaŋ, the word ðe is the definite article, equivalent to the English word "the". However, there isn't an equivalent for the indefinite article "a/an" in Koolaŋ; it is always left out.

Thus, fiš by itself can mean "a fish", whereas ðe fiš means "the fish".

Noun Groups

You can put two nouns next to each other in Koolaŋ (unlike in some other languages, where a joining word like "of" might be necessary).
